Reverse osmosis systems are used for the demineralisation of raw water to generate ultra-pure water for technical processes, medical technology or the food and beverage industry. Compared to other water treatment processes, reverse osmosis, apart from removing dissolved salts, also allows for the reduction of bacteria, germs, particles and dissolved organic substances.
Grünbecks new development condenses this technology in a compact system with a floor space of less than 1.5 m². The new reverse osmosis system GENO-OSMO-X comes in seven sizes with permeate outputs from 200 to 3,000 l/h. High-flux reverse osmosis membranes allow for high permeate outputs without any loss in treatment quality.
Reduced energy input and fully automatic monitoring
A high-pressure pump presses the raw water through the reverse osmosis membranes where the water is divided into the partial flows permeate and concentrate. A speed-controlled motor drives the pump and efficiently adjusts the systems operating point - resulting in energy savings of up to 30 %. Motor control valves ensure that system-specific flows such as concentrate recirculation and concentrate-to-drain always are within the optimum range, thus providing major advantages for the GENO-OSMO-Xs operating reliability. Digital control with touch panel and data exchange Option. The Smart Metering input integrated in the control unit permits to further reduce the operating costs. The GENO-OSMO-X fully automatically monitors system parameters such as permeate flow, conductivity, flow volume and pressure and stores the measured data on an integrated SD card. The control unit ensures easy operation and indicates operating states and system values on a 4.3 inch graphic touch panel. To allow for a data exchange with common industrial BUS systems, optional systems are included in the product range.
