Thermal deburring methods are used wherever the quality of the deburring significantly affects the function of the components or where labor-intensive deburring is sought to be replaced.
With this method, all existing burrs on the workpiece are burned off in a deburring chamber that is filled with an oxygen-fuel gas mixture.
The burning of the burrs, which takes place on the component surface without material removal, takes only a few milliseconds so that workpieces are heated only slightly.
The deburring process and in particular the complete stabilization of all burr edges is determined both by the gas volume and the the mixing ratio of the oxygen-fuel gas mixture. The the optimal design of any possibly used deburring devices has a decisive influence on the final result.
- All burrs on the workpiece are removed
- Very high process reliability
-The burr roots are sealed
