In the field of single and multi-family houses, softening is a pleasant comfort. For hygienic reasons, however, softening is becoming ever more important in the industrial and commercial sector, too, as the scale contained in water represents a nutrient source for micro-organisms. These micro-organisms may possibly cause serious health problems.Water softeners of the Delta-p® series are optimally suited to soften and partially soften drinking water in multi-family houses, residential complexes, hotels, etc. and furthermore, to treat industrial and process water for commercial/industrial use in order to reduce malfunctions caused by scale in system components. The Delta-p® water softeners work according to the ion exchange principle. Being a triple system, the Delta-p® is suitable for the continuous supply of soft water. The most outstanding feature of the certified Delta-p® system is its low pressure loss.Other advantages of the product are:Extra easy selection and dimensioningPlug & Play installation with illustrated mounting instructionsElectronically controlled blending unitConstant fresh water guaranteePatented control valveParticularly low operating costsThe Delta-p®, in general, does not require any time-consuming dimensioning as the nominal flow equals the peak flow and also equals the maximum continuous flow. The nominal diameters of the Delta-p® range from 1 Zoll to 2 Zoll allowing for a nominal flow of 3 to 12 m³/h. In the case of blending from 20 °dH (3.57 mmol/l) to 8 °dH (1.43 mmol/l), the nominal flow is 5 to 30 m³/h.
