Work pieces are quite often forwarded from one machining centre to another bytransport rails. If the work pieces have been magnetized during pre-machining,there will be problems with adhesion, clutching, false orientation, and othersduring material flow, or at the next stage of production.Vallon offers a solution with its degaussing system EG2430 which is controlled bythe machine cycle and continuously performs partial degaussing; this procedureallows an uninterrupted material flow. The generator EG2430 supplies the required current to a degaussing coil ordegaussing yoke which is mounted to a transport rail, and performssynchronised degaussing in an area of approx. 10 cm.The machine cycle is either determined by the subsequent machining centre, orthe EG2420 can be set to initiate degaussing automatically at a given interval.
The easy-to-handle and robust Gauss Meter VFM1 is ideal for
measuring magnetic DC fields in production and workshop
before or after demagnetization.
