The EG2450 is our high-performance low frequency generator and meets the highest demands indegaussing. It assures electric power supply for our most powerful A-series degaussing coils of aninner diameter of up to 200 x 200 cm.To comply with customer-specific requirements, this low frequency generator offers two differentoperation modes. Degaussing by continuously alternating magnetic field for run-through work piecesas rods, tubes and tubes bundles, and pulse degaussing for large and very solid individual work piecesor bulk goods in product carrier with the work piece dwelling inside the degaussing coil until the strongdegaussing pulse has faded.Both operation modes allow adjustment of the coil current and compensation of external static magneticfields (symmetry adjustment); these settings can be stored. The degaussing frequency of the magneticfield adapts automatically to the mass of the work piece, i. e. thick-walled or very solid work piecesreceive automatically a lower frequency which assures a higher penetration depth of the material andprevents efficiently the creation of recurring magnetisation emerging from the material core.
