The simulation software enables the virtual design and evaluation of static and dynamic spray cleaning systems by predicting the resulting mechanical cleaning effect. In addition to the direct jet impact, the outflowing fluid is also considered as a cleaning component. The software allows complex spray cleaning systems to be simulated and optimized in advance in the design development process. In the preview mode, any models in STEP format can be imported into the CAD environment and equipped with nozzles from an extensive online database. The color-differentiated display of the spray shadows and the resulting volume flow distribution takes place in real time and is suitable for configuring the cleaning system. With the subsequent detailed simulation, the time course of the cleaning process can be traced and the parameters adjusted.Complex iterative adjustments to the prototype or at the customer's or the permanent oversizing of the systems can be avoided. This creates planning and calculation security and thus significant competitive advantages. In addition, existing cleaning systems can be virtually checked for their optimization potential and improved with low investment risk.The simulation software is the result of the BMBF project SIMKOR in cooperation with ADVITEC Informatik GmbH, Innovations- und Simulationsservice Festenberg and Fraunhofer IVV Dresden.
