What problem does your product solve?

Manual, efficient laser cleaning with only one flexible optic

What is new/innovative about it? Does the product have a USP? If yes, what is it?

Significantly more compact with significantly increased performance: Much smaller, lighter and therefore easier to handle, with significantly increased radiation intensity and a larger effective working range at the same time.

What is the product’s main benefit for the customer?

The customer can work more fatigue-free with the light and small optics and at the same time achieve a higher paint removal and cleaning speed. The high radiation intensities of the optics also make it much easier to remove stubborn residues.

Can these benefits be expressed in numbers (e.g. process is 30% more efficient)?

Increase in focusing quality and intensity by a factor of 2-3 compared to comparable laser processing optics as well as a weight reduction of around 30%. At the same time, the optics have a long working distance of around 200 mm, which again significantly extends the effective focusing range by a factor of 2 compared to previous laser optics. This means that the operator no longer has to guide the laser beam so precisely and still always achieves an optimal machining result.

How can your product contribute to industrial transformation?

Effiscan can be used, for example, in nuclear decontamination to remove radioactive residues from surfaces. Thus, the new technology contributes to the energy transition and sustainable transformation.
