The focus of Ultratec Innovation's trade fair presentation will be the innovative A25S deburring system. The machine enables automated, contactless and energy-efficient deburring of workpieces such as rotationally symmetrical components, HSS thread taps or dental implant drills using ultrasound. The components to be processed are guided in a process water basin to the tip of an ultrasonic sonotrode. Excited by a generator, this oscillates back and forth 20,000 times per second over 0.1 millimetres. The vibrations generated move burrs and fibres back and forth until they break off with sharp edges in a process-reliable manner. Ultrasonic deburring does not generate heat in sensitive components, which can lead to deformation and discolouration.
