Hannover, Germany. The cleanliness of parts has long been regarded as a major quality consideration and a competitive factor, and remains a topic of prime importance when it comes to achieving long-term growth. The 15th edition of parts2clean makes this amply clear. With over 250 exhibitors and displays filling as much as 7,300 square meters of space, the upcoming parts2clean will be the biggest ever. The leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning opens today at the Stuttgart exhibition center, and will run up till 26 October. Sixteen different nations are represented by the show's exhibitor lineup. A big part of this year's growth is attributable to exhibitors from outside of Germany. Compared with the previous parts2clean, the amount of display space occupied by foreign exhibitors has almost doubled. Apart from Germany, the largest exhibitor contingents come from Switzerland, Italy and France. Overall, the percentage of foreign companies appearing at the event is running at 19 percent.

An essential feature of parts2clean is that most visitors come with sample parts and in search of specific solutions, e.g. for degreasing, cleaning, demagnetizing, bath care, automation, cleanliness control, corrosion protection or the handling and packaging of cleaned workpieces. "By showcasing a comprehensive and user-driven range of products, our exhibitors cover the entire process chain for parts and surface cleaning, thus guaranteeing visitors will find the right solutions for every challenge," remarked Olaf Daebler, Global Director of parts2clean at Deutsche Messe.

parts2clean's leading position as an international buying and information platform for products and services is reflected in the numerous product innovations and refinements showcased by its exhibitors. These range from plant and process technology to solutions for automation and digitization, media cleaning containers and workpiece carriers all the way to bath care, cleanliness control and corrosion protection. "The innovations and refinements on display are geared to the trend towards higher resource and energy efficiency, improved process reliability and optimized economic efficiency and sustainability," explained Daebler.

The special display entitled "The Quality Analysis Process Chain in Clean Rooms" is a new addition to parts2clean. Attending professionals will be able to see first-hand the process steps that are required to meet high cleanliness standards, as well as verifying and documenting them. The industry's leading international trade fair is thus doing justice to increasing cleanliness requirements, which require manufacturers to progressively resort to the use of clean rooms.
