The technical cleanliness of automotive parts, but also parts and components in the field of electrical/electronic production is becoming increasingly important in connection with new technologies, and thus also cleanliness testing of parts and the process environment. This indirect testing requires a sampling step called extraction. Wet extraction and air extraction by blowing off have been state of the art for years. In the meantime, the spectrum of components has changed considerably in connection with e-mobility and assistance systems, for which even these methods have reached their limits.
CleanControlling has therefore developed the supplementary process of suction extraction. In the 3rd edition of VDA 19.1, this particle suction extraction now represents a tried and tested variant of dry extraction alongside the classic liquid extraction. The “suction” test method is comprehensively described in VDA 19.1 and thus guarantees comparable results.
New is the suction extraction system C|PS³apex as a fundamental new development of the previous suction extraction system C|PS² from CleanControlling. In addition to the ergonomic redesign of the system, the user-friendly digital control system with voice prompts and screen display now guides the user through the freely programmable test sequence. The stored test parameters ensure reproducible test sequences. The system is particularly characterized by its independence from closed test rooms and mobile use. The areas of application are thus expanding to include packaging analyses, process optimization in logistics and production, in addition to the classic use in the cleanliness laboratory.
