Cleaning technology specially designed for the coating industry
The new HYBRID PVD cleaning process from HEMO brings all of them together: The further development of the patented SOLVACS technology offers new possibilities in cleaning before the coating process. Instead of long in-line immersion systems that require a lot of space and are very maintenance-intense, HYBRID PVD offers the best of two worlds in just one cleaning chamber with the proven combined use of solvent and aqueous media. Special intermediate rinsing processes as well as the surface finish of the chamber ensure self-cleaning after each process and minimum carryover of cleaning detergents.
HYBRID PVD combines solvent cleaning under vacuum with a wide variety of aqueous detergents to completely remove any type of contamination. The vacuum process reaches even complicated geometries like undercuts and blind holes in a process-safe manner. The rinsing baths are automatically monitored and reprocessed internally. The final step is vacuum drying after solvent thus any risk of corrosion is averted. Finally, high-purity surfaces, free of filmic or particulate contamination, are the necessary requirement for perfect functional coatings, as well as modern visible coatings like e.g. chrome plated or matt black bathroom taps.
