Particle Measurement according to ASTM-F51
The Measuring Table system is used to determine the particulate contamination of cleanroom garments using an industrially applicable, reproducible and meaningful test method.
For this purpose, particle measurement on cleanroom garments is carried out using the suction method.
The method is based on the ASTM guideline and is described in detail therein. The DITF – Deutsche Institute für Textil- und Faserforschung Denkendorf has refined this method and CCI has implemented it in an industrially applicable test system. The cleanroom garment is placed on the sample table, manually stretched taut and exposed to a flow of ultra-clean compressed air. The sample air
is fed directly to the particle counter.
Only particle counters with a sample volume of 1 cft (28.3 l/m) can be used for Helmke-Drums and Measuring Tables.
The particle counter is started at the same time as the measurement process. This makes it very easy and straightforward for the user.
We also offer measurements as a CCI service.
